Tim is a standalone editor built on Theia. It brings files, language tools, debugging, a terminal, Pi conversations, and local tickets into the same workspace.
The intent is to keep an agent close to the code while preserving an ordinary editing workflow. Projects and tickets have their own panel; a conversation can retain its selected ticket and context without becoming the editor itself.
Behavior
The desktop application can open a folder directly or restore the previous workspace. Initializing a ticket project is a separate action. Tickets are stored as Markdown, and proposed changes have an explicit approval step.
The earlier Neovim editor remains available as a prototype. It supports local comments, drafts, and named sessions, with Pi used for agent replies. Theia is the current desktop direction; the two interfaces should not be treated as having identical features.
The public ticket-vim repository contains the earlier Neovim version. The current Theia desktop work is local.
