tim-tools

Shared helpers for data, experiment runs, and a project knowledge base.

tim-tools collects small Python helpers used across projects. It gives data fetching, experiment state, and analysis outputs a shared place outside individual source repositories.

Responsibilities

The data helpers reuse downloaded material instead of fetching another copy for each experiment. Run helpers manage metrics, checkpoints, and resume state. Analytics helpers read those records for summaries and plots. A project knowledge base holds the associated documents and artifacts.

The package also carries shared agent instructions and setup for connecting projects to that layout.

The intent is to reduce repeated infrastructure work while leaving each experiment's actual model and decisions in its own project. It is local working infrastructure, not a hosted service or a general-purpose experiment platform. The common boundary is deliberately small: acquire material, record a run, and inspect what happened.
